NETFLIX: THE QUEEN’S YAMBIT

THE WORK:

Netflix and Michelle Obama produced Waffles + Mochi to help kids discover, cook, and eat delicious food from all over the world. And to hype its release, we built a not-so-late show, structured like a three course meal. The 18 minute special featured a star-studded cast and a bunch of Netflix crossover sketches.

But this Waffles + Mochi x Queen’s Gambit mash-up, starring Anya Taylor-Joy, was my absolute fave; Mrs. Obama said the script cracked her up, too.
